Kripalu Balika Intermediate College was established in 1978 in Kunda, District Pratapgarh. It was established with the purpose of imparting education to the girls in the area as there were no other schools for girls in the neighbourhood at that time.
The school was initially established by a different Management. It was only in the year 2005 that the Management of the School was transferred to Jagadguru Kripalu Education Society. The Patron of the society is Jagadguru Shri Kripaluji Maharaj, The Original fifth Jagadguru in the history of the world. It is with his grace and inspiration that today KBIC has reached great heights in the district.
Over the last few years, the school has added to its campus piece by piece and has come to symbolize independence, high standards and a progressive attitude. At the same time, the school has focused on developing in its students pride in Indian culture and awareness of national and global issues and concerns.
